Kate Hunt’s path to interiors is easily traceable to her childhood spent painting alongside her grandmother and learning the art of building from her father. After studying business, art history, and architecture in Florence, Italy, she refined her eye for detail under design icons Charlotte Moss and Eric Hilton. She went on to lead showroom and product launches for Holland & Sherry before founding her own firm, East End Home Co., in 2015.
Relaunched as her namesake studio in 2020, Kathryn Hunt Interiors has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Traditional Home, House & Garden UK, and more. Her latest venture is Verdant, an online home goods retailer offering hand-painted wallcoverings and hand-picked wares.

What is a typical project timeline?+
Every project is unique and requires a highly tailored process. Our approach is holistic, prioritizing the details that will create lasting fulfillment in a home environment. With that in mind, clients should expect to dedicate a minimum of 12 months to reimagining their home, with that number being on the low end for extensive renovations or construction projects.
Will I be working directly with Kathryn?+
While our team is full of experts in their own right, Kate is still intimately involved in every single project that passes through our doors. It is her passion—and honor—to collaborate closely with both clients and her talented team.
Where do you work?+
Our team is available for projects across the country if they are the right fit. While we do a substantial amount of work in our native New England, we are open to travel and willing to work with clients on the process that best fits their individual needs.
